Does the Hydro-X directly power every connected device?

No. The HCS-1 is the central controller. Most external equipment requires a compatible device station, lighting adapter or interface.

Does the HCS-1 include a CO₂ sensor?

No. It includes a temperature, humidity and photocell sensor. The Hydro-X CO₂ Sensor is sold separately.

Can it control lighting?

Yes. The required lighting adapter must match the exact fixture brand and control protocol.

Can it control a mini-split air conditioner?

Many infrared remote-controlled mini-splits can be integrated with a compatible AC Remote Station. Confirm the exact mini-split model before ordering.

Can it control a commercial dehumidifier?

Yes, when the dehumidifier has a supported control method and the correct TrolMaster station is used.

Does it work without internet?

Core local control does not require constant internet access. Internet is required for remote app access, remote alerts and online monitoring.

Can one HCS-1 independently control several rooms?

The HCS-1 is a single-zone controller. Separate rooms with independent setpoints can require separate controllers.

Can the system be expanded later?

Yes. Compatible sensors, device stations, lighting adapters and RJ12 accessories can be added within the controller's limits.

Where should the included sensor be installed?

Place it near crop height where it measures representative room conditions, away from direct light, mist, heaters, exterior walls and strong air discharge.
