The TrolMaster TS-2 Thermostat Station is designed to replace a conventional wall thermostat and allow a TrolMaster Hydro-X environmental controller to manage compatible HVAC systems automatically.
Unlike the TS-1, the TS-2 supports several HVAC configurations, including Heat/Cool, Cool Only, Heat Only and Heat Pump systems. It can also control compatible multi-stage heating and cooling equipment.
The TS-2 connects to the HVAC system using standard low-voltage thermostat wiring and communicates with the Hydro-X through an RJ12 connection. No separate external power supply is required.
An integrated LCD screen displays the current temperature and programmed setpoint. The TS-2 automatically activates heating or cooling according to the selected system type, temperature setpoint and deadband settings.
For multi-stage systems, the TS-2 can control first- and second-stage heating or cooling when the appropriate terminals are connected.
The TS-2 also includes ON and AUTO fan modes and an adjustable Hot Start Delay, helping reduce simultaneous high inrush current when multiple HVAC units are connected to the same Hydro-X system.
A single Hydro-X system can manage up to four TS thermostat modules, allowing several HVAC systems to be controlled independently.
